I don't eat it often - cause it's my special treat but (Now that Dairy Queen is not an option) the chocolate shake smoothie is still my favorite.
I don't usually measure - I just dump and pour
Soymilk (full fat for the full effect) Enough for thick fluid consistency
frozen really, really ripe bananas, 1-2
1 teaspoon peanut butter ( I don't want to taste it - it just makes the chocolate 'pop')
1-2 Tablespoons of cocoa powder
maple sugar to sweeten (or applejuice works)
Tip: You must blend the cocoa powder with the milk and then add peanut butter and sweetener, lastly add the banana.
Or - second favorite, soymilk and orange juice with banana and pineapple - with just a squeeze of lime.
Or watermelon with lime juice and almond milk - trust me its good!
Uh oh, I think I hear my blender calling me. Good thing I only have fat-free soy in the frig.
