I fear I am addicted to the stuff. I use it for everything. I do sandwiches of course but also add it to soups, pastas and many other things that I need the creaminess for. I even put it in a cookie recipe once in the place of soft tofu and it turned out awesome!

What do you do with it?

Dip artichokes in it (or green beans, brussels sprouts, broccoli...), make fry sauce, pasta sauce (sometimes with avocado and nutritional yeast, it's like Alfredo sauce. ) I use it for salad dressing too.

So delicious...

I've been known to eat it with a spoon.... I'll put it on my nachos, on my pizza... Mix it with Sriracha, and slather it all over cold tofu.

It's gotten to the point where I just can't even buy it, cuz I eat it so fast.

I also put a bit with some salsa and a bit of rooster sauce with chips. Or with spices and dip carrots.

My mom uses it in cake mixes to make them moist. It's funny, you can't tell it's in there.

Yeah if it tastes anything like mayo then I'm going nowhere near it, ever.

Mayo always made me wanna hurl. Can't think if many things I hate more.

I did use to love mayo, but vegenaise is just OK for me. I'll put it in sandwiches when I don't have ripe avocado around. I like it even less b/c it's so expensive.

That is why I get mad when I am gone for the weekend and my jar is missing quite a bit when I get back.

I used to make real mayo myself, but my attempts at vegan mayo have failed drastically :-(

My grandpa hated mayo and refered to it as "white death". Had to share that since both of your posts reminded me of him.

I barely ever use vegenaise but only because the closest place around me that carries it is about 3 hours away. And I find it way too pricey to buy it online AND get it shipped. I really love it but I've never tried it on anything but sandwiches so far.

Another mayo hater here who won't touch vegenaise. The smell, texture, appearance of mayo is repulsive.

I'm pretty grateful that I don't want to even try the stuff. It's not only expensive but pretty hard to find around here.

My veganaise and soy milk-based ranch dressing is ****ing amazing. Seriously.

Also, veganaise + sriracha = the ultimate condiment.

I'm like SuicideBlonde, I use vegenaise for everything! I use it whenever I need to add creaminess to a dish, I've been known to put it in soups and sauces and mashed potatoes, and on pizza.

Also I agree with Herbivorous B.I.G. about vegenaise + sriracha, it's the ultimate condiment. Especially on sushi

Check out these creative uses another addict came up with, some of them sound really weird but some (like the garlic bread) are totally delicious: http://kblog.lunchboxbunch.com/2009/...se-spread.html

I'll use it on my potato tomorrow. I'll also have steamed green beans, and I think I'll make a sauce using Vegenaise, a splash of lemon juice, and some dill.

Microwaved potato? Cook it the old fashioned way by baking it. They taste better and aren't nuclear. Plus, the anticipation from waiting two hours makes you extra hungry.

I use my toaster oven and I never cook just one potato. I heat the extras the next day (in the microwave) or fry them.

I don't really plan my meals ahead like that; microwaving one when I want it works better for me. I'm also usually already hungry when I decide I want a potato. If I had to wait an hour until I could have it, I would just eat something else and then not be hungry anymore when the potato was ready.

I have an irrational fear of microwaves.

Did and was very good yes! Num! Sister loved it also, she thought it was just hummus but it was a surprise.
