I have finally cloned my beloved Kokkteil Sósa
Here is the recipe:
1/2 Cup Tofutti Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Nayonaise (or which ever brand of soy mayo you like)
5 tbs. Catsup
2 tbs. Water
1 tbs. Vegetable Oil
1 tbs. Vinegar
1/2-1 tbs. Sweet Mustard
Pinch of Salt
Stir the Sour Cream and the Nayonaise seperately, to prevent lumps in the sauce.
When they are lump free, mix them together well, until smooth.
Add the Catsup. Stir until smooth.
Add the Water, Vegetable Oil, and Vinegar and stir till smooth.
Add the Sweet Mustard, stir till smooth.
Stir it again with all the ingredients, just for good measure.
Put it in the icebox, till its cold.
You can put it on French Fries or Hash Browns and its really good. Or eat it with Onion Rings, or put it on Veggie Burgers, or Not Dogs. Or just eat it with a spoon.
I made some last night, and shared it with my flat neighbours. The non-vegan consensus said that it tasted a bit like the sauce that you can get at Lone Star with the Bloomin' Onion, except not as spicy.
