So, I kind of want to try this thing.. I've got the store brand of Coca-Cola, would it work with the peanuts?

So, I just tried it. Apparently peanuts float. I did not know that.

They aren't like boogers. More like poor man's edamame.

I have never heard of that before. How bizarre. I mean, whatever floats your boat, but the idea kinda creeps me out. But then again people have told me putting salt on watermelon is weird, so who am I to judge.

Giggles thinking about RC cola. When I was maybe 20 or so, in Michigan, they started distributing RC widely there, and it was this new "radical" cola.

And how can someone live in a place where you can't get raw peanuts? Don't they just have them at the grocery store?

I'll trust your judgement. After all, you'd be the one to know what boogers are like.

I grew up putting the roasted peanuts in my Coca-cola's. The added salt plus the flavor of the peanuts just added so much to the soda!!! The peanuts were yummy in the end, too.

I just did it again a few months ago... putting peanuts in my coke... My co-workers thought it was strange. It's mostly a "kid thing."

Oh yes. Did this just a few nights ago. My grandpa used to salt and pepper cantaloupe. Never got the courage to try ,but one never can tell, it may be tasty.

Good old RC cola and moon pies;health food at its finest! We ate a ton of boiled peanuts when I was a kid. Haven't had those in a long time.

I've made vegan whoopie pies, but never thought about moon pies. This doesn't use veg marshmallows, but sounds pretty good.

Sounds so good! Jarred peanuts don't come close to freshly boiled. The flavor is wonderful.

Boiled peanuts are a staple here. We've probably made about 10 lbs of them so far this summer. They have barrels of peanuts in the produce section of our grocery store. Yummm
