In the future I wanted to make soup and stuff. I'm figuring you use veggie broth right? I saw some in the organic section of my store. Do you just add the stuff you want in it or?

Pretty much, yeah. You can make your own veggie broth at home too. I'm sure it's way cheaper. I buy it though because it's easier for me at this point. I don't have a lot of time to cook. My "easy" soups that I really like are minestrone and lentil/vegetable soup. For minestrone, I just pour some tomato juice in with it, add crushed or stewed tomatoes, then a bunch of veggies and some beans and pasta. And just whatever herbs and some pepper until it tastes yummy. For lentil soup I just do a bunch of veggies and lentils and seasonings.

You can get recipes online. The soups are easy, but some things are important, like you'll want to saute the onions before pouring in the broth and how long to cook the veggies before you add the pasta...that sort of thing. Once you do it a time or two, you won't need a recipe anymore.

My favorite veggie broth is Better Than Bouillon brand. They have No Chicken, No beef, and Vegetable Great for different recipes and pretty inexpensive ($6 or so, but it makes 38+ cups).
