Sorry, I wasn't sure whether to put this here or on the vegan forum. Anyway I'm mostly concerned with the probiotic properties of yogurt. I don't eat dairy, but I recently discovered that my daughter tolerates just enough through her tube to significantly decrease her GI symptoms. I've tried just acidophilus in pill form (crushed and dissolved in water) and I've used florastor for kids. Neither did much for her at all. Yogurt works like a charm. Does soy yogurt do the same thing or no? Any other foods that do something similar? I can't afford any pricey pills so I'd prefer to buy dairy yogurt if there's no food alternatives, I just thought I'd check.
