It was sooo sunny the other day I could not resist! Though the seagulls were clearly hungry too... those things are huge, and when we were leaving I threw them some of my left over veggie hotdog and they turned there nose (beak) up at it! pah!!

Anyway, back to my actual topic, I had vegetarian peppercorn steaks and vegetarian hotdogs. As my first veggie BBQ adventure I was really happy, BBQ'd some onions and peppers also and it was soooo tasty!

I was wondering what are your favorite things to cook on a veg*n BBQ? I would love some ideas so I can try something new next time!

Bell peppers and corn are my favorites.

Kebabs are also fun to grill.

Marinated portabella mushroom burgers...mmmmmmmmmmm

for dessert, grilled bananas/pineapples/peaches drizzled w/ EB and brown sugar.

tofurkey sausages, veggieburgers, eggplant, zucchini, corn on the cob, portabella mushroom caps, pineapple (really any veggies and fruits taste awesome grilled)

What a good way to put it! I never even thought to use tofu, and to think it was sitting in the fridge all lonely!

I'm going to BBQ my tofu today. Last week I put it on the grill and basted it with BBQ sauce. To me it was delicious. For those of you who still crave meat, it had the consistency of a chicken breast, but not dried out at all. Make sure you drain it well. I don't know what I want to marinade it in today. Maybe some italian salad dressing. We also have some Portabello mushroom caps (Yum!). I'll probably throw together some veggies and potatoes and stir fry them on the grill stir fry pan we have. Now I'm hungry and it's not time for dinner.

This is one of my favorites:

and, (using veganaise, of course)

My dad made grilled potatoes a lot. He kept them simple, using only seasoned salt and marg. They were delicious.
