My friend was telling me how he saw that Whole Foods had a bunch of new vegan pastry options, including a vegan pumpkin pie. Does anyone know if this is true? What other pre-made delicious vegan options/products does Whole Foods have that you know about (perhaps posting these things will get some ideas out there of what other members could try )?

I'm not a sweet eater really but my local WF has an entire section devoted to pre-made vegan cookies and cakes!

Whole Foods does offer some vegan pies. At least I saw them when I was their last

I wish I had a whole foods near by somewhere.

Go to the bakery counter, let them know what you are looking for they should be able to point you in the direction of your vegan options. They might even have the ability to do something made-to-order if you call ahead, like people do with those customized birthday cakes.

I just bought a vegan pumpkin pie from Whole Foods a couple days ago!



They also have vegan chocolate chip and sugar cookies (they're labeled as vegan) and the one closest to me sells baked goods from The Chicago Diner (cake and sometimes cookies and muffins).

Their vegan cookies don't do much for me. However, they do have this awesome vegan banana/walnut/flaxseed muffin that I love. Every now and then, I come across a vegan orange/cranberry muffin that's really tasty.



Outside of the bakery, I have found lots of vegan options at their prepared foods counter: emerald sesame kale, raw salads, and a delicious hazelnut/cranberry field roast.



I don't know if all WF offer these wonderful options. I frequent the WF in Houston.

Whole Foods has an amazing Vegan chocolate croissant! To. Die. For.

Me too. There's nothing out here. We must make our own vegan baked goods!

While in Chicago, my brother and I made a special trip wo Whole Foods. He laughed all the way through the store as I marveled at all of the veg friendly options. No WF in Des Moines.

I find it hilarious that you can't trust your friend about vegan options at whole foods xD And I can't believe I'm commenting on a 3 year old post.

yes they dooo!! they have a dairy-free frozen pie too! (outside brand) I'm a usual shopper and I work there! They have vegan puddings, cookies, scones, muffins, cookie sandiwches, brownies, pb fudge cars, cupcakes, and cake!

There's a lot zombie posts out there!

When I first when veg*n I got beefless pepper steak from a WF, made with seitan. I could not eat it! My omni son thought it was good.
