I made lasagne (meatless, but with ricotta and egg) less than a week ago. The leftovers have been in the refrigerator the entire time, but I wanted to know if it's still safe to eat.

I am not as concerned about the taste as I am about if it will make me sick.

Anybody know?

A week is getting out there, I probably wouldn't eat it.

I give leftovers a week, then I throw them away -- unless they're from a restaurant, then they get thrown away after like 2 days.

I have a 4 day rule with my food but I think I tend to get an upset stomach from it pretty easily. A week seems a bit too much, although I'm pretty sure if you google it you will find some food safety guidelines somewhere.

The one lesson everyone needs to learn about food safety and leftovers: 'If in doubt, throw it out'.

You doubted enough to post this thread so I would suggest you throw it out.
