It is a chickpea/tahini spread.. Though tahini is optional, it is strongly reccomended, by ME, FafaFrappy, the famous (healthy) hummus addict!
When I have it, I tend to eat around 4 ounces, or more, each time i open the container.
I love the stuff, and I cannot resist it in it's many shapes and forms! I eat it with veggies, crackers, with pita, in sandwiches, with a spoon., etc. etc... The possibilities are endless!
Aside from chickpeas and tahini, it usually had lemon juice, garlic, and POSSIBLY salt or another spice. But some people add many different things like roasted garlic, roasted red pepper, scallions, parsley, etc. etc.
I, personally, don't have a recipe. It's all about creating a blend suitable to your taste and adding a little bit of whatever you think it needs more of, or just whatever you feel. Like I said before, the possibilities are endless.
