Hi! I have not been on this board in about a million years, so I figured I would re-introduce myself here. I am an on-again, off-again vegetarian in Texas. Being surrounded by meat eaters weakens my reserve, and I have this complex about either being perfect or saying to heck with it (illogical, I know). So, as of today I am recommitting to making a transition to vegetarianism, this time one that will stick!

I hope I won't be shunned for "falling off the wagon", or for making a slower transition this time so that I can turn it into a lifestyle that I can maintain for life! Part of the reason I fell last time was due to a die hard vegan basically chastising me because I still own some leather items, and I own and ride horses. It really got to me, and I ended up really upset and sayine, well, if I can't be perfect, I won't do it at all! Like I said, I know it is illogical, so I am trying to rectify that this time! Any and all support is appreciated!

You must say 1,000 "Hail Golden Soybean"s and flog yourself for 5 hours with an undercooked WW spaghetti noodle. Then, MAYBE I'll see about welcoming you back to the fold...

KIDDING! Welcome back to the bright side! I think this time will be the time that you stay with it, no matter what the hair-splitters think. <-- the dancing fruit agree with me.

I fell off the wagon a couple of years ago and became vegetarian again last year.... this time has been better than ever because I am cooking more instead of using frankenfoods/fake meats and crap.

welcome back to being a veggie! I felt better within DAYS of stopping meat products. Actually probably within hours ;-)
