Hello all. I'm new to this board, but I've been a vegan for almost 3 years now (along with my wife). I used to be a pretty hard-core meat eater. At some point I started questioning what I was doing and what humans in general were doing. Around that time I got the book "Mad Cowboy" by Lyman. That was the beginning. So I went vegan by the time I finished the book while doing further research, but mostly I became a vegan for health reasons at first. I kind of felt the treatment of animals was cruel, but I wasn't convinced at first that animals weren't "ours" to do with as we need or see fit.
I am convinced now though.
So anyways, here's a hello from Idaho.
Cheers and peas to all!
