Hi,

I am a 52-year old guy who'se been a vegetarian for almost 30 years. We are an all-vegetarian family. Son (20) and daughter (9) raised vegetarian. And all are well!! Not fanatical about vegetarianism. We went to the Great Barrier reef last year where I felt I should have some fish. Mmmm... What was that? Yes I know, of course you are right. But it got it out of my system for the next thirty years

I use a wheelchair due to spinal cord injury in 1978. I'd be interested in hearing from other vegetarians who may be in that position.

Cheers

I don't use a wheelchair but I have fond memories of being pushed around in one while doped up on morphine once. And I'd eat fish if I really felt like it.

Welcome to VB!

Welcome to VB -- good to know that your children were raised veg*n. It shows the omnis that it is possible, lol.

Now no more fish -- they are such nice animals. So when you're 82 and craving fish just let the craving pass, lol.

hi, I'm 51 and I'm not old either! My spine is troublesome but I'm not in a chair (aging effect of having hereditary multiple exostoses- bone lumps). My 76 year old vegetarian dad had fish n chips on his birthday last week - so you're not alone in the urge!

Welcome to VB

Welcome to VB. I think it's fantastic that your whole family is vegetarian. It's an amazing thing to pass onto your kids.
