New here, kinda off/on vegan/vegetarian. I keep saying I'll stick with it, but something always cons me out.
I really like sushi, but other than that, this time I'm a-go for this to become the new me. in any case, sushi can always be meat/dairy free...ie-cucumber/veggie rolls... (LOL)
some support and assistance always helps. I'm typically conned off via a milk-laden product that I have no recipe to replicate it, and am forced to buy the normal version, which kinda gets me into...this that and the other.
In any case, i've stocked up on useful foods, even toffuti ice cream and toffuti cream cheese as well as soy creamer and almond milk and some ezekial bread?...I laugh at this, cuz I bought bread boasting about god! OMG.....that's not even nearly like me, at all.
Ok, so I'm happy to be here, and happy to have read some posts, and hopefully I'll get some good recipes off you wonderful guys and gals and keep me on my mission here...
My real reason for going vegan??...I think it's my best bet for preventing breast cancer. I am not really interested in saying much more (I did a speech regarding this and milk intake about 16 months ago, and I was very upset about the studies that were serious, non-PETA/ethics-related, studies. The numbers were very disturbing.)...
So, I'm going to stick with my goals this time (and permanently). My body already feels a lot better (it's been a few days now since I began my regimen)...
