This is a question I have been wondering about for some time now but tonight it was through a Google Alert that I use to track some key words. I hadn't heard of VeggieBoard but if I had, I would have been here long before now.

Hi! I happened to be searching on google for tips on eating expired silken tofu...LOL! I have been trying to find people that can assist me because I am getting very tired of repeating the same meals since October 2008. The closest Whole Foods supermarket to me is a pretty long drive, especially with traffic, so I have been stuck shopping at Publix. My options are running out and I am the only person I know who is a vegan.

I have never been able to eat dairy because I am allergic to the milk protein, so dropping dairy was no problem. But, since I had never been introduced to tofu or anything of the sort, the transition has been rough, but good!

I just have lots of questions and I don't think I am getting enough protein and nutrients.

HELP!

I do have a question if anyone can help me...if you are vegan and go into hospital for something is it very difficult to get your meals prepared to suit the vegan diet?

You probably won't get an answer here, it would be best to start a new thread in the appropriate forum.

I think a girl I work with is a member because she talks about posting on the veggie boards. I'm not sure if she's talking about this exact board but when I did a google search this place looked like the best and most well organized and well connected forum.

I was on google searching to see if PUMA running shoes are made of leather because if they were then I didn't want to wear them (turns out they are, I'm returning my pair to the store immediately) and there was a link to a forum on this site so I got an account.
