Hello from S.E. PA suburbs
Veg options in my area aren't many so I am here for easy recipes.

Hey Barb

I still like "Diet For A Small Planet", by Frances Moore Lappe. I also have Anna Thomas' "Vegetarian Epicure" books, which are more recent- but frankly, I'm not that interested in fussing in the kitchen. I do most of my own cooking, and I do like food, but the "Epicure" books seem to be written more for someone who really loves to roll up there sleeves and make something elaborate. D.F.A.S.P.'s recipes are just as good, but not so complicated.

Here's Ms Lappe's website:

The website seems to focus more on the global, social impacts of our diet choices than on recipes. You'll probably want to google some of the recipes from any of the books I mentioned on-line first. And we've got lots of recipes right here at VB!

Peasant (1963-1972) and Fluffy (1970s?-1982- I think of you as 'Ambrose' now)- Your spirits outshone some humans I have known. Be happy forever.
