Hello veggie friends! Im new here to veggie board and im just curious, what are you guys eating? I've been vegetarian for almost a year now and I still cant help but think...am I getting proper nutrients? Sometimes I'll feel as though im not getting enough protiens so I'll eat lots of protein that day then I think while I was focused on getting that one nutrient in, I left out lots of others. Can anyone lend a girl advice?

You might want to check the recipes section. There's also a few threads on what Veggie Board members have for dinner or during the day in both the Vegetarian and Vegan sections. They're usually in the first page of threads so you'll easily find them.

 

I can't say if you're getting proper nutrients or not as I have no idea what foods you eat, however if you're eating a varied diet of grains, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds, you should be. You mentioned you're a vegetarian, so I guess you still eat dairy and eggs, therefore there shouldn't be a reason for you to have that hard of a time getting proper nutrition. Mock meats are OK here and there, but I would advice not to rely on mock meats for your meals.
