Hi everyone! My name's Kat and I'm a 21 year old student from Western Canada. I've been on and off vegetarian since I was 11 (due to over concerned parents who thought I'd perish without meat.) I was a vegetarian through high school and an vegan for the first two years of university. I stopped being vegan a year ago for multiple reasons, but my diet always remained plant-based. I've recently decided to try to make the transition back towards vegetarianism, or even veganism. I've been eating vegan 2-3 times a week, and eating one non-vegetarian meal on days when I do not. I'm hoping to be a full-blown vegetarian again by the time winter rolls around.
More about me... I've always been vegetarian for ethical reasons. I am addicted to coffee and tea. I am very interested in sustainable living, agriculture, and gardening. I love to cook and bake and try out new foods whenever possible. My favourite band is the Beatles. I love everything about the 1940s. Hobbies include hiking, playing the accordion, and knitting. I travel whenever I have the funds and/or opportunity.
Hi Oatmilk and welcome to VeggieBoards.
Mrs Leedsveg went to see the Beatles nearly 50 years ago in Bradford but she never actually heard them because everyone in the audience was screaming, Mrs Leedsveg included.
