I'm a Montana native and have lived in the state for most of my life.
Outside of my time in the Army, I've have had a few short stints where I worked outside of the state but I've always returned to it.
Many years ago I was run over by a car which caused partial paralysis to one of my legs and cut short my military career.
Mainly since then I've worked as a cook.
I've always had somewhat of a weight problem, but I kept it down through exercise. After my accident I wasn't able to exercise as well and over the years I slowly gained more weight (the large amount of lead in my rear had some to do with it too).
About four years ago I did the splits on the ice in a parking lot, blew out both my knees and I could barely walk. I rapidly gained weight after this.
My knees are better now, though still not totally healed, so I have to be careful not to damage them further. However recently I weighed myself and I'm over 400 lbs. -I don't know my actual weight as the scale only went that high.
Anyway, it was at that moment that I decided that my only real option was that I needed to eat healthier.
So here I am.
