Hello!!! So happy to find a site that people are still using.
I have been working towards being a vegan. I have cut out meat and now I need to make the choice to cut out the dairy. I find it hard to do when I live with two other non vegans and a city full of restaurants that dont have alot of vegan or vegetarian option for that matter on thier menus. I wish I could go through this house and ditch all animal food and animal by products and replace them with goodness!!!!

So any advise from tenured vegans are appreciated!

Tell me your best kitchen tool....
Your best IM HUNGRY NOW food.....
Quick tips....

Any advise you can give.

Oh and has anyone found a vegan deoderant that does not let you stink or be wet? I have tried the Canadian Beaver one but it didnt work for me. I want to eventually change out all my products too.

Are there any people in Kingston, Ontario here??

Thanks again

Best kitchen tool - cookbooks, a great knife, ziploc storage containers
Your best IM HUNGRY NOW food - hummus and veggie plate
Quick tips - I always have food that is ready-to-eat. It makes it less likely I will be tempted to make poor decisions.

Check out the stock your pantry thread:
Remember too, products ingrediants vary between countries, so one brand of something may be vegan in US may not in Canada.

For a good deoderant that will keep you from stinking I love Crystal, a mineral rock you dampen and apply. If you can find the small size I recommend that as it breaks easily if dropped, and lasts about forever! I haven't liked the roll ons or sprays.
For antipersperant Mitchum is free of animal products-in U.S. at least. I kind one around and use it occasionally.

Welcome here!

Hello and welcome!

Tell me your best kitchen tool....
Your best IM HUNGRY NOW food.....
Quick tips....

-A good knife and a good pan.
-Pasta. It's cheap and filling.
-I have a bad sweet tooth, so to cut down on cravings for non-vegan candies, I try to bake at least once a week that way I always have vegan sweets to turn to.
