Hey, I'm Indie. I've been a vegetarian on and off since I was like 10 or 11 (I'm 16 now). Since I refused to eat beans and I'm allergic to nuts my doctor said it wouldn't be a good idea for me, so I ate meat and everything but really just hated doing it. So I slowly cut out fish and red meat and now I'm ready to cut out everything else. Yeah, so this is going to take me a while to get used to but I can do it, I really want to. Does anyone have any tips at staying like healthy and getting protein?

What do you plan on eating since you don't eat beans? Just tofu and such or?

Hi! Nice to meet you. Seitan is an excellent source of protein. 2/3 cup is worth 24g of protein. It takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it in. I like mine with bbq or sesame sauce.
