hello! just wondering if anyone has any advice on emotional eating... i eat when i'm bored, when i'm sad, when i'm happy, mad... whatever lol. and usually i'm not even hungry... and i gain a lot of weight from doing that (even though i'm raw vegan), and i was hoping you guys might have some tips on helping me stop that. peace

I do it a lot as well. It's just habit, so I think you need to find another 'displacement' activity to replace it, maybe try drinking a glass of water/tea, doing the washing up, whatever. If you do something else for like, five minutes, sometimes the 'need to eat' will go away. Often though, I just give in!!! Oops.

Now don't get mad at me Rawfoodrules but have you read 12 steps to Raw Food by Victoria Boutenko? It talks about addiction to cooked food but I think it's relevant to addiction to food in general.
