Week of cooked food after year on raw=feeling gross
I had family in town and getting them to even try the faux meat stuff and cooked vegan foods was difficult enough, raw wasn't possible. I figured a week of cooked vegan meals wouldn't be a big deal. It didn't make me sick, but I definitely noticed a difference in how I felt. Made me break out a little, kind of run down feeling and by the time they left, boy am I CRAVING my raw fruits and veg!
Interesting though to see how efficiently my body runs on (primarily) raw foods (in regards to energy levels and overall feeling healthy) and how cooked (admittedly kind of junky) foods have such a rapid effect on how I feel. I'm going to be living on juices and smoothies for a while now!!!
