On Monday I watched most of the pilot for Terra Nova (I missed the first 30 minutes) and while I wasn't blown away by the dialogue or acting, the CGI was pretty good. I think I'll continue to watch at least for the dinos.

Try to catch the first 30 mins of the pilot online or somewhere. It sets up a lot of the story, some fun futuristic details too.

I'm so excited for Grimm tonight! I watched a 25 minute sneak preview of the first episode and I am hooked already! It looks like a good combination of suspense, comedy, drama, action, and creepiness!

Well, that was interesting, a little different, I liked it.

It's a bit like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I never watched Buffy because vampire-related entertainment doesn't interest me, but I certainly grew up on fairy tales, so this is something I think I can watch.

Yes it's very Buffy like. You could really tell it was written by some of the same people. I loved the quirky sarcastic Buffy humor. I can't wait for more.

Northern Exposure, Season 2, Episode 5: Spring Break...

Anyone know the song that is playing during this clip?

It's called Go Insane. It's from some solo work the guy singer from Fleetwood Mac did.

Any Battlestar Galactica (2004) fans here?

I just began watching the entire series starting with the pilot and moving on to Season One.

I fear that I will not be able to stop until I watch the whole series to completion.

I'm like that.

I finally watched a few episodes of Arrested Development. I never really watched it when it originally aired and never understood all the hype around it. After watching the first few episodes I'll admit that it's a pretty decent show.

For those who like Big Bang Theory... which is your favorite season so far? Mine is season two... because they really got it going on there without becoming stale.

Sadly I can't answer that question just yet. I haven't seen all the episodes. I'm working on it though. I have been watching it on reruns on various channels in the evenings and then on CBS on Thursdays during it's usual timeslot.

Well, the second half of the 2011-2012 season is about to begin, and here are some of the most anticipated new series to watch for:

http://www.tv.com/news/our-10-most-a...on-2012-27411/

What isn't mentioned is the new Fox series The Finder which is a spinoff of Bones. I'm definitely looking forward to that one. I'm also happy to see Don Cheadle starring in a TV series (House of Lies) as I've been a fan of his for some time now.

7. Alcatraz (Fox)
When it's on: Mondays starting January 16
Who's in it: Sarah Jones, Jorge Garcia, Sam Neill, Parminder Nagra, Robert Forster
What it's about: Inmates and guards who went missing from the famous prison decades ago mysteriously reappear and start doing weird things.
Why we're excited about it: J.J. Abrams put his name on this project, so you know it's going to be more than just your everyday sci-fi drama. And with the Lost's Jorge Garcia and Sam Neill visiting our living rooms every week, it has our attention.

I'm waiting for this!!! Plus Jorge Garcia could visit my living room any day and hang out . He's hilarious, talented, sweet, sarcastic and vegan! Hopefully Alcatraz will be just as awesome as he is.

Awake sounds intriguing as well. I might check that out too.
