I like it too, first off. But honestly tho!!! I have to say this so lovingly, that show is so ghetto. That budget is so small, o my god. I mean anyone see where they had to just take digital pics of themselves showing diff emotions? I mean we do that ish at home! I was laughing at my tv like " o she did not go there and make that simpleness her challenge!". She rox it tho. Holla!!!

I wanted to see it but sadly I had to get rid of my cable. Hopefully I can find it online somewhere. Dragqueens fascinate me and I think RuPaul is great!

I adored this show and the way it spoofed America's Next Top Model. Yeah the budget was small but I think they did so much with what they had. I think a larger budget might have ruined it tbh. And the good news is....they're casting for Season 2!

I LOVED Ru Paul's Drag Race! A friend told me about it about halfway in, and I immediately was hooked. I bawled like a baby during the Viva Glam episode, Ongina was my absolute favorite. My friend is looking up where she and Shannel are going to be performing, we're going to try to go see one or both of them live.

Ongina was such a sweetheart i was sad when she got booted. i think we're thinking of the same episode (when she leaves?) but when she was hugging the other competitors in that dainty outfit while the others are in massive heels and huge hair, she looked so tiny!! omg the size difference between her and, i think it was Shannel, that was nuts.

but yeah i agreed with her thoughts of "i don't have to do crazy flips all over the stage to win", while the other one just flailed around frantically and managed to win. pah that was lame.

i didn't miss the finale it's on tomorrow, but i did ruin it for myself after watching that youtube clip, i decided to look up some of the other girls on there and a certain one is linked as "winner of...". pah so now i know who won but haven't seen it yet, totally ruined it for myself lol.

the ep i missed last week replayed last night and was just a recap type show. i didn't realize how much Nina says "Loca" until they showed a bunch of clips of it lol. she's hilarious.

they showed the clip from when Ongina was booted, i was wrong it was Bebe that she was squaring off against who was flailing around desperately lol. she still rocks but i didn't care for that performance and was surprised she won it. meh. and another clip: i hadn't seen the ep when Ongina wins a challenge and gets emotional and confesses that she's hiv+. i was sad to see her booted to begin with now i really wish she'd made it through. takes a lot of courage to come out with that, knowing they might judge her differently based on it, or the other girls might treat her differently.

Yeah, the size difference between Ongina an the other girls is crazy, especially Bebe and Shannel. I thought Ongina should have beaten Bebe in their Lypsynch battle as well.

I don't know if it was just me, but it seemed like the judges were predisposed towards the winner from the very beginning. Even though I wanted Ongina to win, I predicted the winner from the first ep-- it seemed inevitable.

Yeah, that's the Viva Glam Challenge episode. It was so emotional, and it made her so much more REAL than the other girls-- not just an illusion, but a personification, if that makes sense.

I just watched episode one of season two. I LOVED IT!! I didn't realize the show was available online until last night, and now that I've found it, I'm HOOKED. I have to go back and watch all of season one now.

My thoughts so far:

I agree, Mystique is a mistake.

I really like the Puerto Rican girl - her outfit was amazing!

and I really liked the blonde girl who did the warrior drag (I don't remember her name). I predict she'll win.

Didn't even know a second season existed! Yay! I loved the first season. Just found the first episode of the 2nd season, so yes. I will be watching season 2.
