whats not to like about stern? I listen to the show on my ipod, 4 hours a day, its much like crack. Robbin on the shows a vegan, they talk about vegetarianism a few times a week. I think stern could become a vegetarian very soon, his fiance Beth Ostrosky is way involved with northshore animal league, as well as starting her own foundation helping injured horses. Stern gets a bad rap, but he's really a very likable person.

huh i didnt know that. everytime I have ever heard the show its always been about some contest where complete losers call in trying to win the chance to have anal with whatever pornstar he has on that day.

thats understandable, the stern show is 4 hours a day, they cover a WIDE variety of news and topics. Yes they have contests, from time to time, but if you were an avid listener, you would know that stuff like that is not the base of the show. The E! show gave him such a bad image, howard has one of the most intelligent listening audiences in the business. I would say much like the vegetarian/vegan world, without giving it the time, it leaves quite a bad taste with most people. Just read the oprah forum on veganism, very painful.

Yea it was on the E show that I saw him the few times that I did. lol i avoid anything to do woth oprah whenever possible. Her vegan "cleanse" is nothing but a publicity stunt.there is a better chance of soy chickens flying out of my ass and dancing the tango than there is of her pampered over fed ass giving up her exotic fedexed meat meals forever.

I used to listen to the show - you're right, it's addictive. Sometimes I would get offended by the material, and once in a while get REALLY grossed out by something, but all the mini dramas and guests and humor and hominess of it was pretty entertaining. When did Robyn become vegan?

I used to listen to him before he moved to sirius and on e! sometimes. I would make overnight 10 hour drives every few months and on my last couple hours of the drive his show would come on the radio. It was great because it made those last hours fly by because I would be so entertained with his show.

I know Stern is the type of guy you either love or hate in most cases, but I'm pretty ambivalent.
