Cats are easy, sure, but we already have 2. That will make 9 cats... It's a little terrifying, but I don't want to give them up or anything. We'll just have a full house. I am thinking of building one of those big cat cages on the side of the house so they can be "outdoors" and have some more space. Inheritance? HAH! Unfortunately, no. These cats come burdened with debt. Credit companies are doing that now, right?

I don't actually think that I have seen any of the X-Files movies. If I have it has been long enough that I don't remember them. Honestly I can probably only give a generic recap of a dozen episodes at best... Let me think of the ones I can recall:

I can think of the one where they are on a movie set with people playing them

The Millenium episode

The one with the kid that is a monster that eats people

The killer tobacco bugs one

The video game one

...Wow this is sad, that is seriously all of the episodes that I can recall off of the top of my head, and the details of them are fuzzy. To be fair it's been over a decade, and I didn't watch consistently after Mulder was gone. It does seem like a good time to rewatch.

I'm not getting anymore chinchillas, I'm good with my 3. And 2 rats. And cat :)

9 cats sounds like a great time! As long as you don't have coyotes or other wild animals that could harm them, an outdoor cat town would be great. Wait, her cats racked up credit card debt?

The episodes you're talking about are:
1) Hollywood AD
2) Millennium
3) Scary Monsters (I think)
4) Brand X
5) First Person Shooter

You need to REWATCH!!

OK, I haven't read through the entire thread, so I don't know if this has been brought up already, but.....

Anyone else here have a X-Files episode that takes place where they live?

I do! :) Unruhe. If I remember correctly it is in season 4. It's the episode where photos of people would show them screaming, (even though they weren't when the photo was taken), only to soon after be found dead or lobotomized.

I don't have an episode that takes place where I live, but I used to live at the intersection of Mulder and Scully (I was on Scully)

I love Unruhe! The closest an XF location has been to me was Hungry, which was set in Orange County (California). They filmed the 40's baseball scenes from the Unnatural really close to where I live.

Since most of your stuff will be packed, you can watch Netflix on your computer or phone. :D

Not to get kind-of off topic, but what does everyone think of 'The Lone Gunmen' series? It never really grew on me, (good thing too since they canceled it early on), but I own the series anyways. I love the gunmen but I never really got into their show. I have zero love for the Yves Adele Harlow character, and she was a regular, maybe that is part of the reason I'm not much of a fan? However I very much like the Morris Fletcher character, I was happy to see him in the series.

I thought it was silly, I knew it was going to get cancelled by the 3rd episode. I own the DVD set too. I didn't like Yves either, Jimmy was cute though. I just watched Jump the Shark the other day, reminded me of TLG series.

Yes I do! Became a big fan as a teenager, and bought all the DVDs later. I watched the whole series chronologically and was soo bummed when I had finished the very last episode. ;-)

That's when you just start over again :D

I have Netflix on my phone and love that I have TXF at my fingertips at all times. I wanted to put the first movie on my phone, but couldn't get the DVD to convert to the right file. I'm going to try it again when I get my new phone in a month or so.

I really should! :-)

Good luck with putting the first movie on your new phone. If it works, you'll be able to watch the "So-close-to-finally-kiss"-scene over and over again and curse the damn bee. :D
