I missed the whole first year and then shortly before season 2 the man and I bought the DVD's and had a "lost" weekend. Total timesucker, but of course it just draws you in!

It's a good show. I watched it before. This season, however, although I'm watching it, isn't keeping me as entertained as it used to.

Fun show. You're lucky to watch it on DVD. That way, you don't have to wait a week to see the end of a cliffhanger!

You might be waiting a while to find out exactly why the dog survived the crash. I think it was just luck, like with everyone else who survived.

I'm having my mom tape the third season so I don't get distracted from schoolwork trying to catch new episodes. I'll probably watch it all at once this summer.

It's so addictive, isn't it?

I'm a totally addicted dorky fangirl. I even played the alternate reality game this summer. I don't have the reception to get it either, I use torrents.

Cross your fingers that the MPAA or whoever it is who reigns over TV doesn't sue your butt. I very nearly lost my job from bt'ing a TV series.

I was using my company-paid, company-IP-space DS1.

Even if using non-employer connectivity, using bt or what-not to grab files over a link that's traceable to you is increasingly a risk.

Isn't that ridiculous? I used to use a p2p for tv shows that I missed before I started watching 'em on abc or nbc.com. I always thought how STUPID it'd be if I went to jail for DLing tv shows when I could just as easily recorded it on a dvd/vhs, watched it on the internet on the website's page, TIVO/DVRed it, etc.

They seem to get more mileage out of the fact that p2p systems entail distributing the copyrighted content to others than the fact that one's downloaded it for personal use.

Mind you this was before shows were ever legitimately available on the web, though the show in question did IIRC end up being offered for free, albeit in low quality P&S, three years later.
