I don't know if any of you read The Onion, but this week's edition is especially freakin' funny. I was going to post a link to an article, but I couldn't pick just one. And the blurbs on the right-hand side are awesome. I like the guy playing basketball....

I love The Onion! There was a brief point in my life where I actually read the Onion more frequently than the newspaper. My favorite article is the moon landing one that's in the Our Dumb Century compilation. It's hilarious!

The Onion is so funny, I haven't read it lately. I'll have to check up on it more often, good for a laugh.

Oh, i love that one - the "Holy Sh*t - Man lands on the f**king moon!" article is by far the funniest thing I've seen in along time. (Only I saw the poster being advertised, not the book)

On that note, this is one of the older ones I love:

"Sept 11 Anniversary: Two Weeks Later" Sept 25, 2002

"It seems hard to believe that a fortnight has already passed, but this Wednesday, the nation will come together to commemorate the two-week anniversary of the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks."

LOL!!!!

I think my favorite of all time is "Jesus Converts to Islam." I also am particularly fond of the moon landing referenced by several above.

LOVE the Onion.

Astarte, I like Dan Savage, too. A lot of people hate him but I think he's right most of the time.

ETA Dan Savage is not to be confused with Michael Savage. I think they would kill each other if they ever met.

Am I correct in my understanding that you've just bumped a nine year old thread, Werewolf Girl? And I thought my Necromancy skills on Skyrim were elite...

laugh.gif Sure did! It was the first Onion thread to come up in the search.

I COULD have started another one, but then we'd just have a million Onion threads, better to keep it all in one place. wink3.gif
