I figure if I order by Wednesday they come by Saturday.

I'm having a hard time finding anything this week.

I don't like sci fi, romance or slasher films. Otherwise I'm open to anything including subtitles and documentaries. It doesn't have to be new.

Things I've already seen lately are:

Garden State (no)

Collateral (ok)

Before Sunset (yuk except Paris)

House of Sand and Fog

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

The Village

Winged Migration

I'm n ot sure I want to see Hotel Rwanda.

What are some of your favorite recent DVD's within those perimeters?

I have to beat it to the queue to overpass my kid's movies.

Thanks to anyone who answers.

Do see Hotel Rwanda. It's an incredible film.

I recommend the documentary Sound and Fury very highly (it's about two deaf families and their struggle with the issue of cochlear implants.) Best documentary I've ever seen, very possibly.

If you're RSS capable, here's my NetFlix feed:

Would be nice if we could easily share what we've rated movies, too.

Thanks for the good ideas! I will go and sabatoge my kid's queue tonight, ar,ar.

The reason I wasn't sure about Hotel Rwanda is that I saw a good, thorough documentary about the killing there and somehow didn't want to see it fictionalized. I'm not sure I can articulate this sentiment. But perhaps I should give the movie a try.

I'm going over there tonight to check out some of these many suggestions.
