Mine would have to be The Pixies. The Beatles are my 2nd favorite.

I like a lot of bands, but since the way the people are off stage is the kicker, Garbage is my favorite. They rock.

If I could pick only one, that would be... the Yes!

I've been to concerts and stuff. One were in England. They were great. All their records are great. Excellent feel-good music.

I no longer post here after VB was sold in 2012. (See my profile page for details.)

I can't pick just one. Metallica (pre-Load), Queens of the Stone Age, Slayer, Anthrax (w/ Joey Belladonna), Led Zeppelin, Rush, Black Sabbath, PJ Harvey, Black Flag...and lately, Franz Ferdinand. (Also - not a band, but Tori Amos.)

That is the only group that I can listen to any song of theirs and just love. They were on some music channel for a few days this month. Love, love, love cake. And so do my kids (with some songs not played for them of course). Their favorite is the bucket seat song.

Make that three! Their lyrics are fabulous. But I also love Everything but the Girl, and, lately, Dido.

The Beatles, first and foremost.

Closely followed by: The Rolling Stones, THE DOORS (!), U2, The Kinks, The Who, Queen, Simon and Garfunkle, CSNY (and Neil Young on his own, I'm on a Neil Young kick right now), and Creedance Clearwater Revival.

Yeah I got to a point where I became too cheap to buy my own CDs so I just listened to my mom's. Good thing she has such a good taste in music.

*sings* how do you afford your rock & roll lifestyle...

christy, have you heard of Machine Gun Fellatio? They remind me a lot of QOTSA. They're a bit 'funkier' but have a similar sound & energy about them. And they're quite naughty.

My favorite band changes pretty regularly. What I have been listening to most lately is The Pixies and Elliott Smith. And The Breeders.
