Yes...I started out super annoyed and disappointed but once I got over the fact that we were going to have 90 minutes of Morgan, and not find out the fate of my beloved Glenn, I quite enjoyed the episode. I was mad about the goat.

90 minutes of Morgan was way too much. No one needs that much Morgan time. And how ridiculous was the way that guy died saving Morgan? Like, he could have done it in a much better way but the writers were probably like 'ok we don't need this guy any more, he can die now'. But yes, I loved that he was a vegetarian! As soon as I heard him offering falafel to Morgan, my ears pricked up hahah!
Still waiting for Glenn news

P.S. I officially like Carol now hehehe

The touchy-feely bits aren't being imposed by AMC - they're in the source material as well.

I really enjoyed this week's episode with Morgan's back story.

I liked the Morgan episode I just wish it was at a different time in the season because I was so worried about Glenn. I was really upset about the goat death however my friend watches the show and after he saw this episode texted me that he will never eat mutton. :P

I have someone on another thread feed me spoilers. I love knowing what's going to happen before it does. I have terrible anxiety, IRL, and this show doesn't help, hahahahaha. I don't think I could handle it if I didn't know, at least some of, the storyline before hand.

I'm amazed that there are so few couples in this programme, they've fought side by side for so long and most of them are still loners. I don't think that would happen in a real world situation. If anyone's seen those Big Brother type shows, note how fast they pair up. From hearing the psychologists speak the speed at the coupling is born from an instinctive survival strategy, because two are stronger than one.

Yes exactly and in their case you would want the strongest person like survival of the fittest. I wonder if Rick subconsciously realized that with what happened with Jesse last week. Also if anything happened to Rick, Michonne seems like the best person for taking care of Judith/Carl.

Spoiler
If Michonne dies this season I think it will be because of Negan but I think she will replace Andrea from the comics so I hope she doesn't go anywhere. I think Glenn or Daryl may die this season. Except if Glenn dies it will be super cheesy(daiya cheese :P) since he narrowly escaped death twice this season.

You know there is a site or maybe facebook page called spoiling dead? It is almost 99 percent right and they usually spoil everything right before it airs. :P I swear its someone who works for the show because they are almost always spot on.

I saw an article that argued that spoilers can actually enhance enjoyment. It made a good case, backed by psychology and stuff. My experience has been mixed. In 1983 (!) the local paper 'spoiled' the big surprise in Return of the Jedi - Luke and Leia were siblings. Knowing this didn't affect my enjoyment of the movie at all. Plot is only part of why we watch movies. Think about a movie you've seen twice. Did you have to wait until you've forgotten the plot twists to enjoy it? Or did it free you up to pay attention to the details?

But, I think the element of surprise shouldn't be discounted altogether. I'm actually jealous of people who were watching Twin Peaks season 1 when it first aired (I didn't start watching until season 2). The pilot is a stylish, quirky murder mystery. The second episode follows suit, as does episode 3 - until the last 5 minutes. Five minutes that will melt your brain.

The 'big reveal' in season two was the identity of Laura Palmer's murderer. I didn't know the specifics of this plot point before it aired (1991 was pre-internet spoilers), and I'm not sure it would have ruined it if I had. That scene is just so wonderful and horrifying and strange ...

Anyone see last nights episode?! WARNING : SPOILER ALERT for both the comics and the show.

Spoiler
That episode last night was insane. It started out slow but the last half was so intense. I am starting to think that season six is the best season of the Walking Dead since Season 1. Anyway so much happened in this episode. The group decided to attack Negan's outpost while Negan's henchmen were sleeping. When Rick tells this to Alexandria, the only one to object is Morgan saying they should talk with them. (Morgan is getting tons of hate for this but seeing what is coming he may have been the only sane one in the group!). Glenn made his first human kill tonight and above the person he killed were pictures of Negan's Lucille victims. I don't if the show is trolling us really really hard but I think this confirms Glenn will be dead at the season finale. They have been hinting at his death this whole season, however that stupid dumpster dive will just cheapen the lucille death. No one will be surprised now. After they took over out the outpost, they realize that Maggie and Carol were kidnapped by Negan's group! I was so mad the episode ended there and I can't wait for next week!

Oh and what was up with the way Abraham broke up with Rosita?! That was worse than a text message or email break up.

Don't know how to spoiler, so SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Amazing episode.

I think that the line between good and evil has finally been crossed. They murdered people they didn't know and were not personally threatened by, in cold blood in their beds. It's been coming for some time, but it's here. They're finally the bad guys now. Really interesting development. One that was probably inevitable based on their increasing desensitisation and capacity for self-preservation.

Just so you know, you can do this: right before the spoiler content, type
[ spoiler]then the content, then[ /spoiler]

Take out the space I put after the first bracket in each. (I did that so it wouldn't spoiler the description lol.)

I agree Rick is acting like the Governor. However I think that once we know more about Negan's group, it's obvious his group is not good. Jesus said Negan bashed a sixteen year old's head in. I think Rick is acting highly arrogant though, he is so confident he could beat Negan's group but he knows nothing about them and he really shouldn't be this confident. They barely made it out of Terminus and the Governor Killed Hershel and Andrea. I don't where Rick thinks his group is unbeatable.

Ugh indeed. Cliffhangers work week-to-week, season-to-season, they're just kind of annoying. Leave threads to complete in the next season, but complete something. NOTHING was resolved last season. It just feels incomplete

I was reading the spoilers so the cliffhanger didn't come as a surprise to me. I'm already over it. I'm watching Fear The Walking Dead and that's helping. I'm looking forward to October though!

It's an interesting show, but for me it's way too violent, although it does explore a darker part of human nature quite compellingly. I personally think that one of the best zombie shows was In the Flesh, which told a story of a world post-zombie apocalypse and concentrated more on the moral dilemmas of both survivors and ex-zombies and how the people deal with these things.

I know, they should have finished it. This could have seriously been a red wedding moment for TWD and they blew it. I think it was the worst decision the show has ever done and I'm a massive fan of the show.

I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead and as much as sometimes I do find some episodes to be a little slow and dull all around it is a brilliant show. I have just recently caught up so I am ready for the next season which starts a little later in the year and I have to admit the way they ended this last season has really left me wanting more and for the new season to come around a lot quicker.

I believe the new episodes are starting up this Sunday after the holiday-season lull. Is anyone else excited for it?
