I often listen to video game soundtracks even when I am not playing because I like them and they bring back good memories.

I'm not big on gaming, but I have always enjoyed the Sonic the Hedgehog soundtrack from the old genesis system.  I got lucky and my kid likes Sonic, so I get to hear it once in a while when he's watching the older series.

Nice, I used to play that one. I still have it.

I was a huge fan of the Age of Empires series. Played them all for years and loved the music.

Now I'm into the sounds in Asheron's Call 2.

the mass effect trilogy doesn't just have good music. it uses it very well.

Me too! I just loved the first one. The music in the third one is not as good as the first two though.

That's got to be nostalgic for you:

I would not say ''favorite'', but I recently discovered that Remember Me has the most amazing soundtrack. It is free on PS Plus now.

I can listen to ocarina of time, majora's mask, and windwaker, and even most of twilight princess soundtracks and never find them old or boring. I wasn't a fan of SS soundtrack, but then again Koji Kondo didn't create it.

I still love the original Spyro the Dragon soundtrack by Stewart Copeland. Classic.
