Thought would try coconut milk since I love coconut. Didn't go so well, Didn't spit it out but one sip was enough and had to brush my teeth to get the taste out. It was simple truth brand not sugared up.

I hate throwing things away so was wondering if I could freeze it in ice trays then bag it so can use it later in recipes.

Yes. Actually you can freeze pretty much anything, just that most things will suffer in terms of texture.

Yes, freeze away.

Coconut milk is not really drinkable - but there are a whole host of south asian recipes that are built around coconut milk (thai green curry, laksa, etc). You can also boil rice with about 1/4 of the water substituted for coconut milk to make a really great tasting rice.

Coconut milk does not freeze well, you're not going to get the same creamy texture from it after its been frozen.

No reason to force yourself to eat coconut milk, you're better off without it in the first place.

Thanks all for the replies. I'll freeze and try to use it up as I hate wasting things.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Had surgery on the thumb basal joint and it took me longer to get back in the loop than I thought it would.

Was it canned? Canned milk and the kind in the dairy section are totally different. I use the canned for baking and curries and potato soup/chowders.
