If Hillary is the one on the ticket, well, I might just vote Republican. While I usually vote Democratic, I never let party decide who I will vote for. Anyway, it won't be Bush, so we can all breathe a sigh of relief there.

Don't worry. A Republican is not going to win. Guaranteed.

I went with the gin option. Like I need an excuse to drink gin.

You probably just jinxed the election. I'm 99% sure last time around someone said there's no way Bush will beat Kerry, guaranteed. Or something similar anyway.

When Bush was elected for a second term, I actually considered leaving the country very seriously. The only thing that prevented this was a daughter and important family ties.

What's the purpose of this thread? Are you checking the obedience level of VBers Tame?

In that case, I voted on drinking gin straight from the bottle, though I do think moving to a foreign country might become a viable option once again.

My answer is not represented.

I will continue not caring if the United States elects another big C conservative 'Republican' or little C conservative disguised as a 'Democrat'.

Either way Rome is burning and the road out is next to catch.

I'm eating the most delicious pita. It's warm pita bread with tons of veggies and roasted red pepper hummus. Sooooo good!

Oh oops... was I not responding to the poll only? Sorry

This is a poll?

Seems to me that it's an attempt to ridicule anyone who disagrees with the not-so-subtly biased, yet unstated, opinion of the poll creator.

Right?

I reject the poll since my answer is not on there (there's not even an 'other' category), and since this thread is in the Heap, it is about discussion not a 'Poll only forum'.

Is there some rule saying we must only respond to the poll even if we reject the poll and want to discuss the poll?

I believe everything.

I think "eat a most delicious pita" should have been a poll choice.

I would probably be hungry regardless of who is elected for whatever election in whatever place in 2008, so I might choose that given the above options.

I believe everything.

If you think his silly "please respond only to the poll" line is bullying, then perhaps I could lend you my dictionary.
