Never has a user-title been more appropriate.

My husband has only watched porn since at the age of 16 once, and that was with me. It was an interesting dvd. Im hard pressed to find an individual, male or female, who hasnt watched porn even once.

How come I love reading other people's witty signatures, but can never seem to make an awesome one for myself?! Life is hilariously cruel.

I can imagine there are some really devout religious people who have not ever watched it because they think it's evil and are afraid of sex.

That, or people outside of industrialized society that would have no access to pornographic materials.

Yeah, I meant I, specifically, have not met a single person who hasnt seen porn. Even my super close minded, very sheltered best friend had seen some porn. The majority of people, despite gender, I would assume have seen some form of porn. Considering there are sex scenes and nudity in main stream movies, could we include that as a minor form of porn? Or does this thread refer to movies produced by Vivid and Jenna, Jesse Jane and Tera Patrick only? Because even then, porn has become very main stream. Jenna Jameson was my idol when I was a kid. I had no idea she was a porn star, I just thought she was beautiful.

How come I love reading other people's witty signatures, but can never seem to make an awesome one for myself?! Life is hilariously cruel.

Without porn they wouldn't have invented the internet!

Sorry.

I first heard about that on the History Channel show "The History of Sex." Absolutely fascinating.

I wouldn't say that all religious types base their dislike of porn on being 'evil' or due to a 'fear of sex.' Some yes, but not all.

I know some devout religious types who simply wish to reserve sexuality for within a marriage, and hey, if they're happy then that's great.

Yeah. I was being purposefully hyperbolic and mocking, but you might be entirely right that I fail to understand some of the nuance in conventional religion--especially when it comes to views on sex and femininity.

Thread closed due to the ongoing discussions of a sexually explicit nature that fall outside the realm of "PG-13" that is considered appropriate based on board rules.

If I may add: A lot of the discussion here became VERY confrontational, and borderline ad hominem. The thread got all kinds of crazy with people jumping all over each other, and making crude jokes. Add the explicit, detailed personal sex life stuff (I really didn't need to know that stuff. really), and there wasn't much that could be done to salvage it.

In the future:

Keep the personal bickering out of it.

Keep the dirty little details and crude language out of it.

Keep the deliberate thread derailing out of it.
