On Tuesday, the district sent a letter to parents of students at all three of its junior high schools, asking that their children not search Internet sex sites for the teachers image.

It has been alleged that one of our teachers is depicted in at least one pornographic video and possibly others on the Internet, Chancer said in the letter.

Asked f the curiosity of 12-, 13- and 14-year-olds might actually be piqued by such a notice, he said, I dont know.

Chancer wouldnt say if the teacher acknowledged or denied it was her image on the video. He also declined to give her age or other information, saying that involved a personnel matter.

The teachers contract does not contain a moral turpitude clause, but Chancer said the California Education Code outlines employment conditions that could lead to her being disciplined or fired.

Were trying to determine if theres a nexus on what she does on her own time and what she does in the classroom, he said.

haha, parents don't care (good!)

She's not the first and certainly not the last teacher to be in porn....

Wouldn't asking them to not do it lead to even more interest?

LOL, now during parent teacher conferences the teacher is going to have to wonder which parents have seen her video, cause I guarantee you just about every dad is going to be curious to put a name to the... er face.

I think they're just as "bad" as the porn teacher.

Ho NOEZ!

An adult has sex in front of a camera in her spare time, in movies that kids should not have access to if their damned parents are doing their jobs!

THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Nigh impossible to keep kids from viewing internet porn no matter how diligent the parent is. Might stop it at home but unless you keep them chained up and monitored 24/7 they're going to see nekkid peeps having sex while they are minors. Fact of life I'm afraid.

To be fair I think it's nearly impossible to restrict all such access from a 14 year old. Because even if you do your job, some other kid's parent isn't, and will show your kid.

Yes, it's impossible to prevent your child from being exposed to materials that require computers, internet connection, and lack of adult supervision, so let's fire the woman who engaged in legal activities that should have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on her ability to be an educator or her moral character!

I would not want this woman (or man, tho sounds like it's a woman) as a teacher for my child. Teachers are role models, and pornography isn't a profession I would want my daughter to even consider. Just saying.

I no longer post here after VB was sold in 2012. (See my profile page for details.)

Having someone as a role model isn't the same as taking after all their lifestyle choices.

Heck I grew up before internet and by 14 the average kid was fairly familiar with porn. It's called dad's secret stash that he thinks the kids don't know about and can't bring himself to throw away so he keeps it in the attic or something. Just about every kid had a friend whose dad had a stash. You know, the same dad who in this scenario would be criticizing the teacher

The internet might make it more convenient, but I assure you all kids before internet had a pretty good idea what all the important parts of the anatomy looked like.

Granted, they probably hadn't seen their teacher's lol... I find this more amusing than anything else. And a teacher who is into adult porno probably isn't interested in molesting the children, and that's always a plus.

Oh who cares? Everybody's got something out there they may not want their employers/clients/students to find out about. May not be naked pictures, but still. Doesn't have any bearing on her ability to teach what so ever.

I don't think teachers are role models or I would be a teacher myself, or a nun.

Anyone old enough to actually have a profession should also be old enough to be able to make their own choices without basing it all on what their teacher did.

There's also such a thing as a separation between your public and private life.

It would be nice if the world really worked that way... but alas, not gonna happen.

A teacher didn't get her contract renewed because she got a DUI in our town last year. Pretty unbelievable actually but when a school administrators wife works on the county DUI task force and said teacher isn't tenured yet...

Meh, use it as a teaching opportunity for your daughter. See... if you become an adult porno star, it will never stay hidden. You will be found out, scrutinized, ridiculed, put on public display, called a slut, whore and worse... everybody will see you naked, etc., etc. etc....

Between the kids and the dads I'm sure a server crashed somewhere, lol.

I never had a hot teacher.

But yeah, it's unrelated to her teaching. If I had a daughter I would want her to do what makes her happy, even if it's porn, and that wouldn't have anything to do with her teacher. I don't know if I really think teachers are role models either.

It's probably not the teachers proudest moment, and who knows, maybe it was long before this teacher was a teacher. I don't think it mentioned whether it was recent, because it wasn't even confirmed that it was that teacher. A teacher is still a person who is allowed to have consensual sex, and if you think that makes them a bad person, then you're obviously chaste. (Now I'm hoping I used that term right )

I dunno, IMO pretty risky industry to be in, though I'm sure it varies. I don't think most actors last long... bad pun maybe intended.

My sister did go on to work in a strip club for a while, but just as a server. She still didn't wear much though....had to quit because her required theme costumes were eating up her pay checks.
