Phoenix Days 09-22-2011 11:00 PM

Since the other thread has gone past the "5000 post limit", I decided to create the new one.

I'll start with the last opinion I posted, and some new ones:

Threads shouldn't have to close at 5000 posts.

(Yeah, I know )

Hiking is boring
Chest hair is not attractive
Memes are not all that funny
Cherry Pie is better than apple pie

Taking a stroll up a well marked tourist hill on a nice day is boring. Going off the beaten path in crappy weather is entertaining.

Freesia 09-22-2011 11:18 PM

I like hiking but I dont like lots of hills I prefer a flat hike. I like scenery but I dont like walking up hills. I also dont like walking fast, hiking should be relaxed.

Hairy chests or hairless chests are fine by me.

Cherry pie and apple pie are both great, I think overall i prefer apple tho

I like memes but I was sad yesterday as I was looking at ForeverAlone pics and Socially Awkward Penguin pics and I related too much to them. : /

Phoenix Days 09-22-2011 11:20 PM

Okay, I guess it I shouldn't really say it's boring, but the last hike I went on was a complete nightmare and ruined hiking for me altogether.
I don't see what was so special about the rock on the top anyways, if I had the strength, I would have pushed it off the mountain when we got there.

AlixJ18 09-23-2011 12:02 AM

I can't stand cherry pie, it's waaay too sweet, love apple pie.

Agree.
Agree.
Somewhat agree.
Not better than Dutch Apple, but better than regular.

AlixJ18 09-23-2011 12:30 AM

What about boob hair? haha

.Goth-Alice. 09-23-2011 01:29 AM

I dont like the new Unpopular opinions thread

haha just kidding.

I also like cherry pie, and apple.
Chest hair is ok if its not Ape style and I just dont get most memes..I must be old.

Also the 'how veg*n am I' debate is getting boring. Its as bad as the 'What is Goth' debate

Most things are better than apple pie.... never been a fan.

karenlovessnow 09-23-2011 03:31 AM

I think it is very sad that the "Introduce Yourself Forum" threads get so few comments.

Fromper 09-23-2011 05:53 AM

I have no idea if this opinion is unpopular or not, but I've met people who have been surprised when I've said it, so it might be.

I don't believe in perfection.

I dislike website such as 'people of walmart'
They are people for Fs sake...its rude to take pictures when they dont know they are being photographed and then make fun of them...its disgusting behaviour!

disney.jessica 09-23-2011 06:52 AM

I think hiking can be fun only if I have my dogs with me. I hate walking anywhere by myself, but I love when my dogs are with me.

Chest hair is very unnatractive, I agree

zingypeppers 09-23-2011 06:58 AM

I admire people who have better things to do than sit around plucking out their body hair.

I have a Chihuahua, to keep up with people, he has to run, we end up carrying him after maybe a mile or so.. if that.

Me either. Most of the time, I think perfection is relative. I've always disliked the saying, "I'm not perfect." Anytime anyone says that I just want to respond with, "DUH! No one is."

Capstan 09-23-2011 08:09 AM

Perfection is temporary.

As mentioned above, I disagree. Nothing's ever perfect, temporarily or permanently.

depends on what you deem as perfection.

I consider myself a perfectionist. I'm always striving to do better at everything I do, and to get things as perfect as possible, always knowing that true perfection will never happen.

Blobbenstein 09-23-2011 09:25 AM

but if you are thirsty, might not water be perfect?

Yeah, I have a pug so he gets tired really easily and we end up carrying him in a half mile, too. But I'm talkin more of small trails, not full hiking. My old neighborhood had horse trails to walk pets along a creek, but I guess it wasn't full hiking but I wouldnt even walk there by myself, I'd find it boring without my dog

Health-wise, yes. But there are people who would even disagree with that. Someone else might prefer a sports drink or something. Or maybe they'd prefer water with lemon. It's really a matter of opinion.

I think perfection can exist under very specific circumstances. For example, if an artist were to draw a portrait of someone that wound up looking exactly like what he'd intended to draw, I'd agree that it was perfect. I don't really agree that there's a "perfect" way to do most things though. A lot of the time, it's subjective, so I think you could argue that it doesn't always exist.

I am now of the opinion that veganism is in fact a competition.

Scorpius 09-23-2011 12:09 PM

And pie, of any variety, is not tasty.
