A small school in Chicago is making big news on the lunch line these days. Little Village Academy on Chicago's West Side no longer allows students to bring food from home to eat for lunch. So it's either eat the cafeteria food or go hungry.

What do you all think about this?
Say you want to raise your child vegan or vegitarian. Unless you can get a doctors note saying that it is a medical requirement that he/she eats this way, the school will dictate what your child eats, and you can be sure that it will include meat. So you would be forced to send your child to school knowing that they are going to go hungry, or they are going to be eating meat.

at what point is it going to far with regards to the government stepping into your lives.
