Mine is an abbreviation of "beautiful mountain," a translation of the surname given to my immigrated ancestors.

drosenstein is my name - I know, lame. Under my name though is what I would want it to be because that represents my dual function. Although, I am proof that gender roles are socially constructed.

That's good to know, because every time I see your username, the word "buttmunch" comes into my head, and that's horrible, because I don't associate that word with your personality. Hopefully now I will think of beautiful mountains instead.

Q: How many poets does it take to change a light bulb? A: 1001...one to change the bulb, 1000 to say it's already been done.

I personally believe "buttmunch" is suitable word to describe myself at times, so continue to interpret my 4-letter username any way you would like!

Mine is taken from the name of my dearly departed elderly cat; dUSTY. Why 'daze'? I just liked the alliteration. dUSTY was always written with a lowercase d with the rest in uppercase, as when I wrote my first email to a friend about him, I'd inadvertantly left the capslock on and it kinda stuck!

He's also my avatar too

Fogueira means bonfire in Portuguese. It came to me in meditation along with the words "you will heal". Being vegan and hopefully inspiring others to be vegan is a very bright, healing thing.

I'm an accountant.

Happiness is not the result of a mathematical equation comparing the good times and bad times someone has had. It is a state of mind.

That's much better than my brain's reinterpretation!

I always interpreted it as Batman! I know that the letters are in the wrong order, but I can't control what pops into my head...

I like Beautiful Mountains, hopefully that will start coming to mind instead of Buttmunch, BowelMovement, or Batman.

Mine, too!

I had two dreams. In them I knew my name was Paisley-Jane... and I lived in a cute little cottage in a beautiful lush green forest. I remember everything felt so soulful, vivid, serene, happy and right. It was wonderful.

I also like that it can be shortened to PJ, which is cute.

It can also be an acronym for my most favourite band, Pearl Jam!

I like to joke that "PJ is sitting in her PJs listening to PJ!"

And last but not least, I'm not a Plain-Jane... I'm Paisley!

I call my son LoveBug on the mamaboards I run (3 Norwegian messageboards), so eventually I changed my nick to *LoveBugMama* everywhere online. SO when I registered here, it was the only logical name to use. (That, and my real name (wich I used as a nick everywhere before) is kinda weird if you are englishspeaking. )

In electrical engineering, ground or earth may be the reference point in an electrical circuit from which other voltages are measured, or a common return path for electric current, or a direct physical connection to the Earth.

^^ that's the inspiration I was drawing from when creating my username.

maybe a bit dorky now, but it sounded good when I made the name up.
