What's your perfect meal on a rainy day?

It's been raining all day and I have no idea what to make for dinner..

I was thinking salisbury steakletes, mashed taters, canned green beans, and corn bread but... I don't know. It's not so great sounding anymore

Soup and bread, all the way.

Well my favorite meal ever is a soynut butter sandwich on wheat bread with raisins and cinnamon and an apple on the side so I use any occasion to have this. However on really cold and rainy days, I love my slow cooker minestrone soup (I keep a nice supply in the freezer for just such emergencies) and an epic green salad with mandrain oranges and almonds.

Nachos with pasta sauce, cheese and sour cream or guacamole.

I ended up just having my boyfriend make some mashed potatoes and I put some peas in mine ha. I hate feeling ill.. so I guess since it's still rainy today I'll put my crock pot to work.

I have to search far and wide for a good crusty bread. All the bread around here is crap. Maybe a trip to Whole Foods is in order despite the rain..

Chick pea with veggies and the soy sausages soup or lentil and crusty bread.

Of course both sops spicy.

I was doing my own thing quietly and YOU are the one who created this post trying to make a big deal out of it. Keep flaming the fire. That must be what you want.

Mash, Peas, baked tofu, and gravy. Or soup and home made bread. Anything homemade. Rainy days to me are all about wandering around the kitchen cooking for pleasure.
