Yay! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

My mom and sister just left. We celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday so it's a bit quiet around here. We had Tofurky, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, and pumpkin pie.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, also. And good luck to the folks who are a little scared about it.

I will be eating at a restaurant (for some reason) which will at least spare me from staring at a carcass during dinner.

I´m eating dinner with the other students from my study abroad program at a restaurant. The directors plan a catered dinner for the Fall students every year, and the one director told me today that it´s not the sort of catering where they just hand you a plate of food. I´ll get to pick off of a table or cart or something what I want to eat. MUCH better. I´ll steer clear of the stuffing, though, unless I am confident that they made a non-meaty version. Well, at least I know that at Christmas, my grandma will have vegetarian stuffing for me.

Q: How many poets does it take to change a light bulb? A: 1001...one to change the bulb, 1000 to say it's already been done.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The meal I'm going to got put back a couple hours, so now I'm killing a half hour or so before I leave... I think there may be cooking problems. That'd be cool if somehow they couldn't get a turkey. Okay, I won't hold my breath for that one...
