Give them a "perfume" sample then tie them to the swing set before they wake up.

How do I make friends?, well I'm an intuitive introvert who is highly emotional, so it would be a miracle if I were able to make friends. I wish it were easy for me, but I can hardly function properly around people.

Are there any Veg groups in your area? Or veg meetups?

What about meeting other parents at the school through volunteering?

If you are able to get away from the kids for a bit, you could try meeting some people through an evening or weekend class, like a book club or pottery, or hang gliding, or whatever suits your interests. I've made a few good friends through extra curriculars and such.

I've found that I can get a lot of friends by going to any establishment, handing out some money to people and then promising to give even more money if they come hang out at my place.

I give them food and water, and allow them to sleep on my lap when I'm on the couch.

Occasionally, I even clean the litterbox.

I did kickball. if there's one in your area. If not, you can start one up. People of all ages go, and kids often went to the games too. It was a lot of fun, I don't do it now really as my work schedule changed, but I have a number of friends I met there. Its good to get outside and get some exercise too

I don't know... I suck at making friends. Thankfully, I am very good at keeping them though and tend to pick my buddies very well. So I guess it kind of evens out, heh?

Love the post? Why not buy the T-shirt!

Hi Smedley! If I remember correctly, you're in the Chicago 'burbs right? I think it was you I talked to about VegFest this past summer. If you join the Naperville, Joliet, or Plainfield freecycle group (I don't remember which one. I belong to all 3) they have a Women's Social Group Meetup a couple times a month. They do fun things like going to the Apple Festival, board game nights, wine tasting, etc. The lady who came up with the idea lives in Bolingbrook and the group is women between the ages of 25 and 50 or 60. I've been eager to go but have always been busy on Meetup days.

Yes, I think that's how I made my 2 best friends too!
