A Good APPLE Or Peach

Could you look an animal in the eyes and say to it, "My appetite is more important than your suffering"?

A fresh golden delicious right from the tree.

If they're out of season then I'll settle for a strawberry or something.

I'm going to have to second the avocado. It just doesn't get better than that.

Pineapple, the place that caters the meetings I cover somehow no matter what time of year has the freshest, juiciest Pineapples.

Mmm... ditto on the avocados and banana. Especially lady finger bananas. Oh, and cherries and peaches and nectarines and lychees and mandarines.

apples, mangoes, grapes, cherries, blueberries, nectarines.

I didn't know avocado was a fruit, so I guess I'll have to include that, but I don't eat avocados the same way I eat the fruits I listed above. I love me some Mission tortilla strips with Some really good guacamole on 'em, but that's not the same thing as crunching through a really good and juicy Gala apple on a hot summer day.

You should do a poll on this. I think mangoes would win. It looks like I'm the only one who has mentioned kiwifruit unfortunately.

Kiwi fruit is great! So are figs and olives. How could I forget figs and olives? And wine! Red wine. Grapes are a fruit, and wine is made from grapes, that makes wine a fruit.... right? Right?

Man, it's like Sophie's Choice. It would be far easier to list the fruits that I don't like (which I think, are raspberries, kiwi and grapefruit).

Strawberries, apples, and "black" grapes are favorites but overall, I have to add my support for the mighty mango. When they are perfectly ripe. Oh good heavens, it's better than chocolate.

(did I just say that out loud?)

Avocado, I suppose ... But I also like mangos and clementines and bananas a lot. Oh, and blueberries. (Are berries technically fruits as well?)

I no longer post here after VB was sold in 2012. (See my profile page for details.)
