I didn't know avocado was a fruit, so I guess I'll have to include that, but I don't eat avocados the same way I eat the fruits I listed above. I love me some Mission tortilla strips with Some really good guacamole on 'em, but that's not the same thing as crunching through a really good and juicy Gala apple on a hot summer day.

Technically, a lot of things we don't consider fruits are actually botanically fruits. Example: tomatoes, nuts, beans, cereal grains, some spices, etc.

I can't believe that more people don't choose strawberries for their favorite fruit. It's the greatest that was ever invented, although I do love mulberries and black berries too. Oh, and pears, pears are good.

Chiles - I love chile peppers which are botanically seen also fruits !

Otherwise it would be: nectarines, apples, bananas and melons - actually there's almost no fruit I don't like unless mango.. I'm not really into mango.

Durian, avocado, peach, kiwi, and guava. I had to make my top 5 list of fruits, because I couldn't choose just one.

A beautiful, silky mango, a creamy golden-green avocado, or a perfect, juicy, sweet summer peach or nectarine. I love the WORD, "Nectarine" the best, though. I swear, I think it would be a good name. (Embarrassed laugh).

I think the only fruit I really don't like (that I've had before) is grapefruit. I'm not a huge fan of lemons or limes by themselves, but as an ingredient I like them.

I'm always up for berries & melons & bananas & apples & OMG I am so hungry for fruit now... I'd kill for a fresh fruit salad.
