The universe is simply too big/infinite for me to believe that absolutely no other sophisticated beings exist, period. And obviously we haven't visited many planets in our OWN solar system to know (but I think we know enough at this point...), let alone other GALAXIES.



The probability of them visiting Earth is ridiculously low, however. I personally don't believe they've visited us.

Why would other beings want to visit here? What do we have to offer them? Paris Hilton? War? A Big Mac?

This thread is hilarious. I believe there is life out there, but I'd think they'd have a hard time getting past the black hole. There's no indication that any planet near us can support life. I'd assume there is life in other solar systems, but they're not close enough where we can see them.

Our planet is probably one in 500 billion. A golden planet. Perfect living conditions.



Perhaps they are in need of relocating, and are scoping out the neighborhood?
