Got anyone here with investing knowhow? I quickly saved up enough money to invest, after working for just 6 months. This is basicly the first time I've worked full time and made a decent income, since my head injury in 1967. But I need to start preparing for retirement now. If I'm lucky I'll have 10 more working years in me. I'm 60 now.

By being poor for 40 years, I've learned how to keep my living expensed very low. That's how I've saved up some money in only 6 months.

Why don't you go to a broker?

If you are in Chicago, my wife's bosses are a business on investments. They are experts on retirement plans and all that stuff... I can give you their phone.
