I'm still here, I'm happy as ever, and will be making the drive from the southwest tip of Alaska to the southwest tip of Florida, beginning next week.

I'll be going through Yukon Territory, B.C., to Oregon, over through South Dakota, Wisconsin, New York, Chicago, up to Vermont, and south along the Atlantic, ultimately taking my job back at the restaurant in the Everglades. I'll pop on when I get the chance and time, I miss you, and I would never be here in Alaska, never have met this wonderful girl, and never be on this path if not for you, so thanks!

I can't believe you're going to Vermont. No one should be allowed to enter while I'm away.

Do yourself a favor and go to Willoughby Lake. It's probably going to be out of the way, but it's got cool cabins on the lake and it'll be real pretty.

Good, you've not left yet.

So Willoughby Lake is in the town of Westmore (but there's a good chance if either'll be on a map, it'll be the lake!) There are two interstates in Vermont, and there's a very good chance you'll go on the other one. So, like I said, it'll probably be a couple hours out of your way... but chance you to see it, and you'll behold...

This second one is a promotional collage, but it's kind of truthful:

And this is a pic you can take if you go on the 1.2 mile hike up Mount Pisgah:

I don't think I'll see you this trip, but on your next trip to Oregon, hit me up! I promise I have much more personality in person than on the phone.

Tell Heather hi.

I spoke to Travis today..

He first drove from Alaska to Oregon. Spent a day or so with family then he drove over to Vermont to be with Heather's family. Now they are in NY and will spend a few days there with friends. They will then drive down through Virginia and South Carolina (stopping in Charleston). I should be meeting them in St Augustine, Fl on Sunday for the night.

He sends his love and misses everyone!

Heading into North/South Carolina today and looking for a nice fine dining restaurant in charleston. Any suggestions? Doesn't need to be vegetarian or vegan necessarily.

Hey! The whip is back! This place has changed!
