How was everyone's Canada Day? I went to Parliament Hill to see the fireworks and almost got trampled by the drunken crowd of crazy wonderful Canadians

Oh man, that's like my worst nightmare.

I stayed at home and went to bed early after watching movies. Just how I like it.

Well, don't come any closer. We don't need you radical Americans infiltrating our peaceful land.

By the way, is that an hour walking, driving or riding a bike?

an hour driving.

I grew up alot closer though, 20 minutes. Would get a few Canadian TV channels, some of my favorite tv shows as a kid was on CBC.

Take off ya hoser. I like Canada better then the States, have thought about moving there a few times... if I could get citizenship anyway.

Were there ever any episodes without Casey and Finnegan???

Fred Penner. I actually didn't get any of his shows but I do know who he is. Or do you mean that he showed up on Mr. Dressup sometimes. I think I remember that.

Oh, and what about "The Kids of Degrassi Street" and then later "Degrassi Junior High"? They've even brought that show back now.

Degrassi rocks. "Degrassi: The Next Generation" has been out for at least a year now.

Yes, the puppeteer (Judith Lawrence) retired in the early 90's, taking Casey, Finnigan, and Alligator Al with her. They were replaced with some kind of pink fluffy thing and a crow.

Man, I'm glad I quit watching before Casey and Finnegan left. And Alligator Al -- he (she?) was one of favourites. I forgot about him. And I loved the owl because he would only say something like once out of every 5 episodes.
