Mine is, of course

"Christmastime" by the Smashing Pumpkins

Would like to hear what everyone else likes!

Of course my next pick would be the Channakah Song(s) by Adam Sandler.

My stepfathers version of "Jingle Bells"

Jingle bells, go to hell

If you don't believe

A fireball will burn you all

and leave the world for me!

Jingle bells jingle bells

We've ways to make you cheer!

Unless you are sick or poor a Negro or a queer!

Jingle bells Jingle bells

Lets remember when

Christmas was a special time

For a guy named one ball Ben!

Its a family favorite

Celine Dion's version of "O Holy Night."

Any version of "Blue Christmas."

David Bowie and Bing Crosby's "Little Drummer Boy."

"Santa Baby"

"O Come O Come Emmanuel"

"Mary, Did You Know?"

*hmmm* Both of those are songs I worked hard on with my voice teacher seven years ago. Wonder if there's a connection.

Q: How many poets does it take to change a light bulb? A: 1001...one to change the bulb, 1000 to say it's already been done.

I don't know why, but Feliz Navidad. I don't speak Spanish either.

I absolutely loathe The Little Drummer Boy.

Ditto for me. I also like most of the Home Alone II soundtrack and a Rosie O'Donnell Christmas CD

Tie. I can't pick just one. I could listen to the following over and over.

Rockin Around the Christmas Tree-Brenda Lee

Two-Step 'Round the Christmas Tree - Susie Boggus

Santa Baby - Ertha Kitt

Santa Looks a Lot Like Daddy-Buck Owens

White Christmas-Bing Crosby

Baby It's Cold Outside - Dean Martin. And also the Robbie Williams / Nicole Kidman

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear - Frank Sinatra

I hate:

Drummer Boy

Feliz Navidad

"Carol of the Bells", especially the Transiberian Orchestra version.

"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee.

"Santa Baby", by anyone who has a sultry voice. (I once heard a really bad version on the radio of this. The woman sounded like she was reading from a boring textbook and trying to sing it.)

Louis Armstrong & Ella Fitzgerald - Baby, It's Cold Outside..

Not really a christmas song but more like a winter song.

Ditto. Love that one. And any other version of it too!

I also forgot to mention "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." I especially like the part where it goes "Through the years we all will be together, if the fates allow." Always makes me think of how happy I am with my good friends from home.
